What we do
Our Mission
We submit ourselves to Jesus as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King to accomplish the below.
We strive to be a beacon for Jesus Christ, by making disciples through Him.
We intentionally meet as family members, serving one another by fulfilling life’s needs through prayer, hospitality, and spiritual gifts. (1 Peter 4:8-10 and Romans 12:5-13)
We partner with cross-cultural servants sharing the Gospel: through prayer, encouragement, and support of our world wide missions by contributing to the Great Commission Fund. (Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8)
We introduce individuals to Jesus, verbally and by the daily actions of our lives. (1 Peter 3:15 and Colossians 4:5-6)
We train believers to be imitators of Christ.(2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Titus 2:12)
We are created to glorify God. (Psalm 100:1-4 and 1 Cor. 6:19-20)
Serve the Church
Are you feeling compelled to be more active in the church? We'd love to talk with you and see where your gifts meet our needs. Traditional areas of service include worship team, children's church, hospitality, or VBS teacher/helper. If you have an idea of another area you could help in, we would love to talk with you! Please be aware that for some of these areas you may need to pass a background check.
Serve the City
We believe the church should always be serving it's own community. Therefore, we partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship, the YMCA, Inspiration Ministries, Gideon International, and the DeKalb County Ministerial Association. All of these community organizations have volunteer needs. Maybe one of them matches an urge that God has put in your heart?
Serve the World
Our denomination believes every man, woman, and child needs to hear the gospel. That's why we have almost 700 workers serving in over 70 countries around the world. Auburn Alliance Church not only supports those workers through the Great Commission Fund, but we are dedicated to praying for them as well.
